Canarsie Courier : Nís McKenzie
For the launch of a compact digital edition of "The Canarsie Courier," Nís McKenzie asked me to take portraits of those featured in her project. It was a wonderful experience to highlight the extraordinary youth of Canarsie. It is a place saturated with talent, intelligence, and dignity, and I hope to have captured a glimpse of it in these photographs.
